The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, Unit 15-17 Big Buy Plaza, Portmore, St. Catherine, on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
Jockey ROMANE GORDON who rode ARMY RECRUIT in the fifth (5th) race on Saturday, September 27th, 2025, had his explanation of correcting his mount accepted for his excessive use of the whip.
Jockey SHAVON TOWNSEND who rode PRINCESS CATALEYA in the first (1st) race on Sunday, November 16th, 2025, was fined Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for his excessive use of the whip.
Jockey RAMON NEPARE who rode;
- BLUE PERSUASION in the first (1st) race on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, was fined Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) for his excessive use of the whip.
- NOBLE MONARCH in the third (3rd) race on Saturday, November 15th, 2025, was fined Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) for his excessive use of the whip.
- He was also recommended for four remedial riding sessions.
