The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, Units 15-17 Big Buy Plaza, Portmore, St. Catherine, on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

Jockey DANIEL THOMPSON who rode BIG LA in the eight (8th) race on Saturday, July 25th, 2026, was fined Twelve Thousand Dollars ($12,000.00) for excessive use of the whip during the running of the race.

Jockey DEMAR WILLIAMS who rode NEPHEW in the nineth (9th) race on Saturday, July 25th, 2026, was suspended for a period of two (2) race days and fined Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for the intimidation and interference caused to SUMMER PALACE approaching the 200-metre point and while leaving the 100-meters point of the race. The suspension will take effect on Saturday, 22nd August, 2026.

Jockey RAYON BLAKE who rode TITAN TEMPO in the fourth (4th) race on Sunday, July 5th, 2026, was cautioned for excessive use of the whip during the running of the race.
