The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, Unit 15-17 Big Buy Plaza, Portmore, St. Catherine, on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025.
Jockey ANDREW WRIGHT who rode RHOSA THE WARRIOR in the second (2nd) race on Saturday, July 26th, 2025 was fined Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for his excessive use of the whip.
Jockey JAHEIM ANDERSON who rode BEAUTIFUL MOON in the third (3rd) race on Saturday, July 26th, 2025 was cautioned for the excessive use of his whip.
Jockey PHILLIP PARCHMENT who rode BENEISON in the ninth (9th) race on Saturday, June 19th, 2025 was suspended for one (1) race day for the excessive use of his whip. The suspension will take effect on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025.
Trainer PETER- JOHN PARSARD was fined Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) for his use of calumnious language towards a representative of the Commission on Tuesday, July 22nd, 2025.
