The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, Units 15-17 Big Buy Plaza, Portmore, St. Catherine, on Tuesday, March 3, 2026.
Jockey JEMAR JACKSON who rode SECRET SENSATION in the fourth (4th) race on Saturday, February 7th, 2026, was fined Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) for excessive use of the whip during the running of the race.
Trainer BARRINGTON DAWES was fined Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for failure to present the horse BLACK RINGO for Lasix Administration on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
Jockey TAJAY SUCKOO who rode DANKA in the third (3rd) race on Wednesday, February 18th, 2026, was fined Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for intimidation and interference caused by drifting right into the path of horse MISS GROVE leaving the 100-metre pole.
Groom ASTON BENT who was summoned for failure to present the horse BLACK RINGO for Lasix Administration on Saturday, January 31, 2026 was exonerated.
