The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, 8 Winchester Road, Kingston 10, on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. Jockey MATTHEW BENNETT who rode SENOR KWANZI in the first (1st) race on Sunday, September 8, 2024 was suspended for three (3) racedays for failing to dismount a lame horse after discovering that it was under distress leaving the 1100 metre point. The suspension will take effect on Sunday, September 15, 2024.
