WELLNESS

The Jamaica Racing Commission (JRC) believes that the Company needs a safe and healthy work environment for each employee. With this in mind JRC, JRC has embarked on its Employees’ Wellness Programme. The programme started in July 2017 and since then, it has been receiving good support. To achieve wellness, JRC recognized that lifestyle and behaviour change are required. The company is also aware that for the programme to be successful, it will take time, commitment and support from the relevant stakeholders, and is working to achieve that. The aim of the company is to create an environment which promotes a good balance in terms of physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and occupational wellness.
