The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, 8 Winchester Road, Kingston 10, on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Jockey JEROME INNIS who rode: - BLINKIN LIGHT in the sixth (6th) race on Saturday, May 25, 2024 had his explanation accepted for the excessive use of his whip; and, - WHISKY in the third (3rd) race on Sunday, June 2, 2024 was suspended for twenty-five (25) racedays and fined Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) for not taking all reasonable and permissible measures to win the race.
