The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, 8 Winchester Road, Kingston 10, on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Jockey SHAVON TOWNSEND who rode: - SECURITY CODE in the seventh (7th) race on Wednesday, March 05, 2025 was fined Ten Thousand ($10,000.00) for the excessive use of the whip in the final 400 metres of the race; and, - RUSTY in the sixth (6th) race on Saturday, March 15, 2025 was suspended for one (1) race day and fined Ten Thousand ($10,000.00) for the excessive use of the whip. The suspension will take effect on Saturday, March 29, 2025.
