Subject: POSITIVE FINDING RETURNED BY HORSE FAULYNA FOREVER

The Board of Commissioners of the Jamaica Racing Commission, on 28th March, 2024 concluded an investigation into reports by the Racing Chemist concerning the positive finding of: - • Ketorolac returned by horse FAULYNA FOREVER after it raced on the 2nd April 2022 Trainer Rudolph Hardial, who represented himself in the hearing, accepted the findings of the Racing Chemist and made a plea for leniency. After considering all the evidence presented, the Commission: • Ruled that the presence of the banned substance in the post-race urine sample of the horse was in breach of Rule 247 of the Jamaica Racing Commission Racing Rules 1977. • Disqualified horse FAULYNA FOREVER from the race in question, pursuant to Rule 207 of the Racing Rules 1977. • Imposed a fine of Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($75,000.00) on Trainer Rudolph Hardial to be paid within three (3) months after the ruling.
