Subject: DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS

The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, 8 Winchester Road, Kingston 10, on Tuesday, April 26, and 3rd May, 2022.

Jockey RADDESH ROMAN who rode SHEBOOM in the tenth (10th) race on Saturday, 9th April, 2022, was fined Eight Thousand Dollars ($8,000.00) for the intimidation caused to BETTER BEST and XY SOUL approaching the 200 metre point.

Trainer RYAN WILLIAMS was fined Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) for breaching Rule 200 of the Jamaica Racing Commission Racing Rules 1977 with regards to the horse MOON on Saturday, 23rd April, 2022.

Jockey RAMON NEPARE was severely cautioned for breaching Rule 200 of the Jamaica Racing Commission Racing Rules 1977 with regards to the horse MOON on Saturday, 23rd April, 2022.

Jockey CHRISTOPHER MAMDEEN who rode:

- SIR FREDERICK in the fifth (5th) race on Wednesday, 2nd March, 2022, had his explanation accepted for the laceration to the flank of the horse; and,

- DEJAEā€™S BOY in the tenth (10th) race on Wednesday, 2nd April, 2022, was suspended for two (2) race days and fined Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for the intimidation and interference caused to EAGLE ONE and GOD OF LOVE in the vicinity of the 200 metre point. The suspension will commence on Saturday, May 14, 2022.

Jockey AARON CHATRIE who rode KUNDA MAN in the third (3rd) race on Monday, 18th April, 2022, was suspended for six (6) race days and fined Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) for the interference caused to CONUNDRUM leaving the 100 metre point. The suspension will commence on Saturday, May 7, 2022.
